Locality: United States, Texas, EDWARDS, 8 mi. N Barksdale, on road to Rocksprings.
Habitat and Description: Not uncommon but scattered on limestone hills, with juniper, oak, sumach, etc. Slender tree, 12 ft. high, diam. at base 4 1/2 in. Stems brittle, heart wood light henna-colored, sap wood pale yellow to white, smelling like wild onion beneath bark. Flwrs. dark yellow.
