Habitat and Description:
A large shrub found in dry thickets. Perennial; clay soil. Flowers: Paniculate; blue-purple. Leaves: Pinnate, about 10 leaflets, smooth. Fruit: A cylindrical constricted pod. Fissured bark. Occurs in upper part of Cameron Co. scarce.
