Habitat and Description: Stems prostrate, not rooting at nodes; common in shallow brown clay over Caballos Novaculite on narrow ridgetop. Chihuahua Desert shrubland. Common woody plants include Agave lechuguilla, Dasylirion sp., Aloysia sp., Prunus havardii, Rhus virens, various cacti. Herbaceous associates include Heteropogon contortus, Selaginella peruviana, Dalea wrightii, Bouteloua curtipendula, Erioneuron pulchellum.
