Habitat and Description: Frequent in dry compacted sandy soil in bed of utility line cut through mixed diverse shrubland in shalloew, undulating, excessively drained, calcareous, gravelly loam Petrocalcic Calciustolls (Jimeniz) and Ustalfic Paleargids (Quemado) over conglomerate and caliche of the Goliad Formation (Miocene).
