Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, 2 mi. N of San Benito, Zillock Road.
Habitat and Description: Erect spreading herb. Open ground and fields. Clay soil. Axillary fls., open at day, close at night; yellow, no odor. Bright green leaves, crowded, dissected. Fruit an oblong short pod. Green bark. Fibrous roots. Rare, an early annual, showy, branches spread out on the ground.
