Habitat and Description: Some plants with typical purplish blue corollas, others with only white corollas; common in formerly grazed pasture grassland, mostly Stipa leucotricha and Aristida purpurea with shrub cover of Prosopis, Diospyros, Juniperus, etc., in sandy stony soil on outwash terrace on Austin Chalk plain.
