Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, Laguna Atascosa Nat'l Wildlife Refuge, 0.3 mi. E of Crossing Dike No. 1, Lower Cayo Atascosa. 2 m. above and 10 m. from water on roadside bank. Elev. 5 ft.
Habitat and Description: Gray-brown sandy silt with some clay. This species dominant here. Shrub, perennial herb, 20-30 cm. Bushy upright in masses, spreading by horizontal runners. Green perianth parts.
