Habitat and Description: Backwater lowland area below eastern of the Preserve. Nahatche bottomwood loam.Frequently flooded hardwood forest dom. by Quercus lyrata, Q. phellos, Q. nigra, and Ulmus sp. Locally abundant. Fr. bright red, most already past. Intro. from Asia, possibly invasive in Thalictrum habitat.
