Habitat and Description: 165 ft. Dense live oak/Ilex vomitoria mottes with sandy openings; SOIL: loamy fine sand to gravelly, sandy clay loam; GEOLOGY; Quaternary stream terrace/some eolian deposition. ASSOC. WITH: Quercus fusiformis, Ilex vomitoria, Gaillardia aestivalis, Quercus marilandica, Phlox drummondii var drummondii, Corallorhiza wisteriana, Prunus texana, Euphorbia helleri. Small rounded shrub, 1 m, petals white, just beginning to fruit, only one plant seen.
