Locality: United States, Texas, LIBERTY, Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge. W side of Trinity R., ca. 12 mi. E of Cleveland, just S of FM 787. At "inner" gate.
Habitat and Description: 75-80% bottomland hardwood, with a mixture of gum-cypress, riverine, various oak-hardwood associations on sl. higher sites, pine-mixed hardwood, and a stand of loblolly pine along a sand ridge. Voucher for ecological study: "Effects of Removal of Cattle Grazing on Succession in Bottomland Habitats.".
