Habitat and Description: Rare in moist black clay in horse pasture, in partial shade of Salix and Sapium along margin of natural pothole pond. Associates include Bacopa monnieri, Cissus incisa, Eleocharis palustris, Eleocharis montividensis, Erigeron ortegae, Eupatorium betonicifolium, Ipomaea trichocharpa, Melia azedarach, Mikania scandens, Phyla sp., Salix nigra, Sapium sebiferum, Smilax bona-nox, Typha sp.
