Habitat and Description: Tall perennial; tepals greenish yellow; frequent in shallow stony clay loam over Edwards Limestone (Cretaceous), in live oak savanna on level upland. Associates include Leptochloa dubia, Aristida purpurea, Bouteloua sp., Gaura calcicola, Rhynchosia texana.
