Habitat and Description: Rare in hillside seepage bog dominated by pitcher-plants and beakrushes, on moderate to gentle, mostly S-facing lower slope underlain by Catahoula Formation. Associates include Aletris aurea, Anthaenantia villosa, Ascyrum stans, Calopogon tuberosus, Dichanthelium ensifolium, Drosera brevifolia, Eriocaulon decangulare, Eryngium integrifolium, Eupatorium leucolepis, Helianthus angustifolius, Hypericum fasciculatum, Ilex coriacea, Lachnocaulon anceps, Liatris pycnostachya, Lycopodium appressum, Magnolia virginiana, Marshallia tenuifolia, Osmunda cinnamomea, O. regalis, Panicum virgatum, Pinguicula pumila, Ptilimnium capillaceum, Rhexia petiolata, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Sarracenia alata, Schizachyrium scoparium, Scleria reticularis, Viburnum nudum, Xyris spp.
