Habitat and Description: Frequent in moist silt on utility line clearing along margin of freshwater marsh in ponded area. Associates include Carex glaucescens, Cyperus pseudovegetus, Eleocharis montana, E. tuberculosa, Erianthus strictus, Juncus effusus, Leersia hexandra, Panicum gymnocarpon, P. rigidulum, Paspalum urvillei, Rhynchospora corniculata, R. inexpansa, Xyris sp., Alternanthera philoxeroides, Bacopa caroliniana, Hydrolea ovata, Justicia lanceolata, Ludwigia decurrens, Ludwigia pilosa, Mecardonia acuminata, Mikania scandens, Pluchea foetida, Pontederia cordata, Sagittaria sp., Spilanthes americana.
