Habitat and Description:
Rare, local in very shallow fine sandy loam (mapped as Axtell Series medium acid Udertic Paleustalfs) on seasonally seepy unshaded reddish brown glauconitic exposure of Calvert Bluff Formation (Eocene). Associates include Centunculus minimus, Drosera annua, Liatris sp., Krigia spp., Hypoxis hirsuta, Vulpia octoflora, Stylosanthes biflora.
