Habitat and Description: Mature, frequently burned, dry longleaf pine savannah, along timber roads. Geology - Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils - Colita (Typic Glossaqualfs). Community dominated by Pinus palustris/ Schizachyrium scoparium - Paspalum plicatulum.
