Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, ca 0.9 mile south of enterance to Unit 1, near main road. Elev. 5 ft.
Habitat and Description: In ca. 30 cm water and at edge of neck of land at water edge. Dark brown, fine, clay sand. Sagittaria sp.-Solanum sp.-Mimosa berl. complex. Shrub, 1-3 m. Basal diam., 1.5-2 cm. Crown diam., 1 m. Irregularly loosely branched. Masses of filaments pink, flowers with very sweet odor.
