Habitat and Description: Common in moist gravelly sandy loam on partially shaded banks of and on narrow terrace along nearly perennial stream draining sparsely vegetated hills of Valley Spring Gneiss. Associates include Ludwigia glandulosa, Juncus marginatus, J. cf. torreyi, Sabatia campestris, Panicum hians, Paspalum urvillei, Setaria geniculata, Coreopsis tinctoria, Fimbristylis puberula, Allium sp., Eleocharis caribaea.
