Habitat and Description: Frequent in moist alluvial clay on edge of mudflat in bottom of drying resaca, between bands of Phragmites australis (upslope) and Eleocharis parvula (downslope). Other associates include Ammannia sp., Samolus parviflorus, Bacopa monnieri, Pluchea sp., Cyperus elegans, C. ochraceus, Heteranthera dubia, Leptochloa uninervia, Eleocharis cf. palustris.
