Habitat and Description: Occasional in disturbed sand between powerline and highway right of way in dry sandhill woodland/barrens. Geology - Carrizo Sand (Eocene). Associates include Aristida lanosa, A. desmantha, Helianthemum georgianum, Helianthus debilis, Matelea cynanchoides, Paronychia drummondii, Pediomelum subulatum, Penstemon murrayanus, and Tradescantia reverchonii.
