Habitat and Description:
Occasional in wet sandy soil along shaded margin of tiny forgotten stock tank, opening in upland post oak woodland in sandy soils over claypan sediments of the Calvert Bluff Formation (Eocene). Associates include Eleocharis quadrangulata, Pluchea purpurascens, Sagittaria sp., Agalinis heterophylla.
