Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist +/- compacted sandy soil along unshaded margin of small borrow pit pond. Associates include Cyperus acuminatus, Diodia virginiana, Eleocharis lanceolata, E. microcarpa, Hydrolea ovata, Juncus brachycarpus, J. diffusissimus, J. marginatus, Panicum hians, Paspalum laeve, Ranunculus sp., Sabatia campestris, Salix nigra seedlings, Scirpus cf. georgianus.
