Habitat and Description: Common along margin of relatively deep long-lived freshwater pothole in opening among live oak woodlands on deep loose well drained loamy fine sand on undulating topography of Ingleside Barrier. Associates include Eleocharis quadrangulata (dominant in deepest water), Rhynchospora cf. microcarpa, Ludwigia linearis, Boltonia diffusa, Cyperus haspan, Pluchea foetida, Panicum hians.
