Habitat and Description: Occasional in saturated silt in swamp forest along margin of freshwater marsh in ponded area. Associates include Carex cf. glaucescens, Cyperus pseudovegetatus, Eleocharis montana, E. tuberculosa, Juncus repens, Panicum gymnocarpon, P. rigidulum, Rhynchospora corniculata, Justicia lanceolata, Mikania scandens, Nyssa sylvatica, Sapium sebiferum.
