Habitat and Description: Common in moist sandy clay on unshaded seasonal mudflat around pond in borrow pit. Associates include Cyperus iria, C. difformis, C. articulatus, Fimbristylis vahlii, Eleocharis obtusa, Brachiaria reptans, B. platyphylla, Leptochloa nealleyi, Sphenoclea zeylandica, Heliotropium procumbens, Ammannia coccinea, Bacopa rotundifolia.
