Habitat and Description: Upper slope hillside seepage bog. Geology - Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils - Melhomes (Humaqueptic Psammaquents). Associates include Burmannia capitata, Drosera capillaris, Eriocaulon decangulare, E. texense, Lycopodium carolinianum, Marshallia tenuifolia, Rhynchospora oligantha, R. chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Sarracenia alata, and Xyris ambigua.
