Habitat and Description: Occasional in calcareous sandy loam on +/- level occasionally mown unshaded roadside underlain by Goliad Formation, at high point of very gently rolling terrain. Associates include: Acacia rigidula, Brazoria scutellarioides, Castilleja indivisa, Delphinium sp., Desmanthus velutinus, Dyschoriste linearis, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Hedeoma sp., Hedyotis nigricans, Hymenopappus sp., Krameria lanceolata, Linum cf. rupestre, Linum rigidum, Lygodesmia texana, Stipa leucotricha.
