Habitat and Description: Erect, branched herb. Habitat: River bank, edge of ponds. Annual. Soil: loam. Flowers: from summit - a spike. Color: whitish. Leaves: long, narrow, light green - pointed. Fruit: very small. Bark: green. Roots: annual. 1 meter tall, branching at the reddish nodes. Known from Cameron Co.
