Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, Channel of Resaca de la Palma where it crosses the highway north of Brownsville.
Habitat and Description: Fresh stagnant water. Perianth white or pinkish-white; stems as long as 6 ft. but decumbent at the base and rooting in mud in water 0-18 inches deep, the inflorescence being rarely as much as 4 ft. from the uppermost rooting nodes.
