Habitat and Description: Rare in grassland on sandy loam over Lissie Formation. Associates include Coreopsis tinctoria, Callirhoe involucrata, Hordeum pusillum, Juncus marginatus, Paspalum plicatulum, Limnodea arkansana, Monarda punctata, Rumex hastatulus, Cirsium horridulum, Castilleja indivisa, Sabatia campestris, Rhynchosia americana, Helianthemum sp., Sphenopholis obtusata, Limnosciadium pumilum, Heterotheca latifolia, Stipa leucotricha, Rhynchospora harveyi.
