Locality: United States, Texas, Walker, Sam Houston National Forest, Compartment 48. Bottomland of East Sandy Creek, S side of FM 1374, just W of jct with FS Road 222, SW of Huntsville.
Habitat and Description: Quercus pagoda and Ulmus crassifolia dominant, with Celtis laevigata, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Carya aquatica, etc. and scattered Pinus taeda. Quercus sinuata localized. Large tree, ca. 25 cm dbh. Intact branches from downed branch; separate leaves picked up from beneath tree, these apparently more representative of the size and variability on the tree.
