Habitat and Description: Abundant in sandy/silty soil on level alluvial terrace, grazed grassland among pecans. Associates include Carex muhlenbergii, Stipa leucotricha, Vulpia octoflora, Artemisia ludoviciana, Callirhoe involucrata, Hordeum pusillum, Torilis arvensis, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Bromus unioloides.
