Habitat and Description: Rare in silty alluvium in partially to mostly shaded bed of intermittent stream in deep ravine between hills supporting post oak woodlands. Associates include Carex amphibola, C. blanda, C. cherokeensis, C. retroflexa, Chamaesyce dentata, Chasmanthium latifolium, C. sessiliflorum, Ciclospermum leptophyllum, Desmodium paniculatum, Elymus virginicus, Festuca versuta, Geum canadense, Gilia incisa, Limnodea arkansana, Malvastrum coromandelianum, Mecardonia vandellioides, Myosotis macrosperma, Nemophila phacelioides, Oplismenus hirtellus, Parietaria pensylvanica, Paspalum langei, P. pubiflorum, Plantago rhodosperma, Ratibida columnaris, Samolus parviflorus, Stellaria media, Verbesina virginica, Viola missouriensis.
