Habitat and Description: Rare in moist sandy clay loam in deciduous woodland on seasonally inundated creek terrace. Herbaceous associates include Panicum anceps, Panicum rigidulum, Carex cherokeensis, Elephantopus caroliniana, Solidago cf. delicatula, Eupatorium coelestinum, Agrostis perennans, Prunella vulgaris, Botrychium virginianum, Chasmanthium sessiliflorum.
