Habitat and Description: Erect grass in small tufts. Habitat: low fields, semi-moist situations. Annual. Soil: clay. Flowers: terminal, with several slender spikes. Color: greenish. Leaves: mostly basal, rough to the touch. It forms large colonies in open grounds, in slightly moist grounds.
