Habitat and Description: Rare in woodland on mesic lower slopes of N-draining igneous canyon. Associates include Arbutus xalapensis, Asplenium resiliens, Bommeria hispida, Bouteloua curtipendula, Cercocarpus montanus, Croton fruticulosus, Desmodium grahamii, D. psilophyllum, Echeverria strictiflora, Euphorbia cyathophora, Fendlera rupicola, Galium wrightee, Hedoma plicatum, Lonicera albiflora, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, M. monticola, Nolina texana, Penstemon barbatus, Prunus murrayana, P. serotina, Ptelea trifoliata, Quercus hypoleucoides, Sedum wrightii, Senecio millelobatus, Thelypodium wrightii, Vitis arizonica.
