Habitat and Description:
Erect and much branched herb. Open sandy soils. Annual. Sand soil; flowers paniculate on spreading branches; color purple. Leaves opposite, linear, 10 to 20 mm. long. Fruit a subglobose capsule. Only known from the sandy region near the Coast.
