Habitat and Description: Occasional in silt and sand exposed in bed of Lake Travis during summer of low water level. Associates include Alternanthera polygonoides, Chamaesyce serpens, Cyperus odoratus, Echinochloa sp., Eleocharis caribaea, Fimbristylis vahlii, Fuirena simplex, Helenium elegans, Heliotropium procumbens, Leptochloa fascicularis, Leucospora multifida, Neeragrostis reptans, Persicaria sp., Phyla nodiflora, Physalis angulata, Pluchea purpurascens, Sesbania macrocarpa.
