Locality: United States, Texas, Hidalgo, Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, .1 mi. S of entrance gate from road S of highway 281. Elev. 80 ft.
Habitat and Description: Dense thicket. Most trees ca. 10 m. high, ca. 5 mi. from pond. Gray-brown, crumbling organic silty clay. Acacia sp., Celtis laev.-Ulmus crass. Annual herb, 30-40 cm. Spindly upright. Lavender corolla with white and red markings.
