Habitat and Description: Erect herb, branched. Open alluvial ground. Annual. Soil clay; flowers terminal racemose; color pink. Leaves opposite, petiolate, oblong, ovate-cordate. Fruit in sessile clusters. Roots fiberous. A very common annual growing in large patches.
