Habitat and Description: Stems prostrate. Occasional in well drained, noncalcareous, reddish fine sandy loam over sandstone and grazed mesquite woodland on level upland. Herbaceous associates include Aristida purpurea, Cenchrus incertus, Croton capitatus, C. glandulosus, Dichantium annulatum, Diodia teres, Eragrostis curtipedicellata, Froelichia sp., Hermannia texan, Indigofera miniata, Matelea parviflora, Palafoxia texana, Schrankia latidens, Sida ciliaris, Xanthisma texanum, Waltheria indica, Zornia bracteata.
