Habitat and Description:
Habit erect, single or in small tufts. Habitat at the edge of water. Annual. Perennial roots. Flowers terminal panicle-clusters. Color brown. Month May-June. Stem leaves about 4, clasping, long linear. Roots somewhat bulbous. Rather rare in this region and so far only known from the upper Arroya Colorado.
