Habitat and Description: Resaca. Habit erect grass-like herb. Habitat in resaca bottoms. Annual. Perennial roots. Soil clay. Flowers are from the summit of plant. Color cream. Odor none. Month Apr.-July. Leaves linear, on the stem from base upwards. Fruit is in a compact cluster. Bark green. Roots deep seated. Occasional in slightly brackish water or muddy ground.
