Habitat and Description:
Habit erect herb with white summit; habitat moist sandy ground; annual; perennial roots; soil sandy-loam; flowers are terminal; color whitish; odor none; month June-Aug.; leaves are linear, and mostly from below the stem; bark pale; roots creeping. Occasional in colonies in sandy-loam situations that remain moist.
