Habitat and Description:
Habit erect herb, with white head; habitat moist sandy ground; perennial; soil sandy; flowers are from the summit of stem; color white; odor none; month May-July; leaves are narrow and mostly from below on stem; fruit a terminal cluster; bark pale; roots creeping. Occasional in colonies, occurring in sandy situations.
