Habitat and Description: Upper slope hillside seepage bog. Geology- Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils- included in Stringtown (Typic Hapludults). Associates include Burmannia capitata, Coreopsis linifolia, Drosera capillaris, Eriocaulon decangulare, E. texense, Liatris pycnostachya, Marshallia tenuifolia, Magnolia virginiana, Myrica heterophylla, Ptilimnium costatum, Polygala ramosa, Rhynchospora chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, R. oligantha, Sarracenia alata, Xyris ambigua, X. scabrifolia, X. drummondii, and X. baldwiniana.
