Habitat and Description: Locally common in moist sand in drainage ditch along margin of oak-redbay shrubland thickets on Pleistocene barrier island. Associates include Andropogon glomeratus, Bacopa monnieri, Centella asiatica, Cyperus haspan, Dichromena colorata, Eleocharis cellulosa, Fuirena scirpoidea, Fuirena cf. simplex, Juncus sp., Ludwigia linearis, Paspalum plicatulum, Pluchea purpurascens, Rhynchospora divergens, R. globularis, Typha sp.
