Habitat and Description:
Common in moist clay on unshaded sloping strand seasonally exposed along margin of small stock tank, in blackland prairie opening in upland loblolly pine forest. Associates include Eclipta prostrata, Cynodon dactylon, Echinochloa sp., Eleocharis quadrangulata, Phyla nodiflora.
