Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist alluvial silt and clay on mostly unshaded bars in limestone bed of river. Associates include Agrostis semiverticillata, Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis cordata, Andropogon glomeratus, Aster subulatus, Bacopa monnieri, Bidens frondosa, Bidens laevis, Boehmeria cylindrica, Buchnera floridana, Chamaesyce nutans, Cicuta sp., Cyperus odoratus, Desmanthus illinoensis, Eleocharis rostellata, Eleocharis caribaea, Eupatorium serotinum, Eupatorium coelestinum, Eustoma sp., Fuirena simplex, Helenium autumnale, Helianthus maximiliani, Hydrocotyle umbellata, Iva angustifolia, Juncus texanus, Juncus filipendulus, Justicia americana, Lobelia cardinalis, Ludwigia palustris, Ludwigia octovalivis, Mentha piperita, Mikania scandens, Mitreola petiolata, Nasturtium officinale, Oenothera jamesii, Panicum virgatum, Paspalum urvillei, Pluchea purpurascens, Rhynchospora nivea, Samolus parviflorus, Solidago juliae, Verbena brasiliensis, Xanthium strumarium.
