Habitat and Description: Occasional at outside edge of Typha zone in moist, poorly drained, moderately alkaline fine sand (Mustang Series, Typic Psammaquents) along margin of natural ephemeral fresh-water pothole pond among Pleistocene-era relict barrier island dunes supporting live oak-redbay woodlands.
